Homemade Lip Scrub
A lip scrub is a great exfoliator because it has a granulated sugar base, which is not abrasive for the lips but strong enough to leave lips with a baby soft pout.
Along with sugar as the exfoliator, you can always add a nourishing touch in the recipe, such as ultra nourishing Vitamin E, essential oils, and honey which can be found in kitchen and get done at home.
The perfect combination of sugar, vitamins, essential oils (i.e. coconut, almond or olive oil), honey and lime juice leaves you with smooth lips and skin on a target area.
Ingredients:
- 4 tsp white sugar.
- 3 tsp essential oil.
- 3 tsp honey
- 2 capsules of vitamin E oil.
- 1 tsp lime juice.
Direction:
- Mix white sugar and honey in small bowl.
- Add desired essential oil.
- Drop 2 capsule of vitamin E oil.
- Stir till ingredients are combined.
- Put in a container of your choice.
The consistency shouldn't make less than 1/4 cup.
Uses:
- Apply the scrub on lips using toothbrush gently in circular motion for 2 minutes, then wipe up and rinse with warm water.
- Apply lossy or lip balm or any moisturizer of your choice.
NB: Exfoliating too much can irritate your lip and cause it to break. Keep your exfoliating routine down to trice a week.
Nice one, I'm settle down for this home made treatment, it's even cheap to get
